Here at Chargrace Soils, we provide a market-leading BS-8601:2013 subsoil. It is contamination-free, sourced from single source inert subsoil sands and screened to 10mm, making it excellent for any landscaping applications where a quality certificated subsoil is required.

Why is Subsoil Important? 

To disguise problems, poor soils and recycled materials have typically been employed as a subsurface, with better grade soils deposited on top. Grass and most plants, shrubs, and trees, on the other hand, have strong roots that reach deep into the subsoil layers.

As a result, for the greatest potential growing results, subsoils must be clean and inert, free draining, and rich in nutrients to nourish the root systems.
