About Us

Our managing director, Steve, embarked on a journey in the construction and landscaping industry. With years of experience, we started with a single grab lorry, supplying aggregates, landscaping materials, and removing building waste from small sites across the South East getting to personally know builders, landscapers, developers and DIYers.

Recognising a shortage of quality building and landscaping products, we opened our first soil production facility in Sussex. This facility manufactured a range of soils and recycled aggregates to meet market demands.

Our company continued to grow, we expanded to a second yard in Surrey. This location served as our head office, vehicle maintenance yard, and a site for doubling our aggregate production, including recycled type 1, type 2, shingles, and crushed concrete.

Chargrace Soils, named after the second generation of the family Charlie and Grace. Chargrace Soils was established to produce and supply premium blended soils and subsoils to the landscaping industry alongside other aggregates.

We have partnered with major quarries and producers, ensuring a constant supply of single-sourced primary feedstock for our various blends. Chargrace Soils also opened a new blending and bagging facility in Surrey. This facility has become the group’s main hub, where we blend all our products ready for distribution. We have invested in bulk bagging machinery, allowing us to supply products either bagged or loose to our clients. Approximately 90% of our deliveries are carried out using our fleet of lorries, ranging from 3.5-tonne tippers to 44-tonne artics.

Our success is driven by our dedicated team, including sales staff, weighbridge operators, loaders, and drivers. Each member plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Our versatile fleet of vans, tippers, and grab lorries is designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients, providing efficient and reliable delivery solutions.
